What is a bath steamer?
Already, this product is quite common abroad, due to the bathrooms in most houses in these regions having a bathtub.
However, don't worry, you don't need a bathtub, a good old-fashioned shower will do the trick.
At first glance, bath steamers are nothing more than “bath salts”. As well as the “bath bombs”, however, in the shape of a biscuit, made with essential oils, which dissolve in contact with water.
Ingredients to make your bath steamer
1 cup (tea) of citric acid
2 tablespoons of melted shea butter
2 cups (tea) of sodium bicarbonate
20 drops of lavender essential oil
Dried lavender to decorate
Cup cake mold or similar
Preparation
Firstly, use a medium bowl, then mix the citric acid together with the baking soda.
Then, in another bowl, mix the lavender essential oil with the shea butter, then add it to the dry ingredients.
Then, start mixing, as soon as the mixture is firm and without crumbling, it is ready. Now, place a small amount of dried lavender in the bottom of the mold and fill it with the mixture, at the same time press down firmly.
After a while, remove the “wafer” that formed from the mold and place it on a sheet of parchment paper, then let it air dry for several hours and then store it in an airtight container.
How to use bath steamers
First of all, you will place it directly on the floor, so the ingredients in the vaporizer will react when the water hits it, releasing the scent of the oils.
Then the aromatic wafer will dissipate little by little, releasing a wonderful aroma into the environment.

The bath steamer can last for 5-10 minutes, but this depends on the amount of water directly hitting the steamer. However, it's a good idea to make a few and use them whenever you need them.
Tip: It is possible to use other aromas of essential oils, such as orange, Sicilian lemon, eucalyptus, etc…
