NECESSARY SUPPLIES  

  • 1 tablespoon beeswax
  • 2 tablespoons shea butter
  • 5 drops of orange essential oil 
  • 2 to 3 drops cinnamon or clove oil
  • 3 drops of vitamin E oil
  • small glass jars (you can also reuse things you have at home)

HOW TO MAKE CUTICLE BUTTER

  1. First of all, take a small pan, heat it with water until it boils and remove it from the heat (set aside)
  2. Right after, take a glass bowl, add the beeswax and shea butter and place it under the hot pan, (bain marie) stirring occasionally until the ingredients melt.
  3. Then, cool the mixtures, add the essential oils and vitamin E oil. Gently stir to mix
  4. Then pour the mixture into small pots and let it solidify.
  5. To use, simply scrape off a little and massage into nails, cuticles and surrounding skin.

First of all, you need to know that this butter doesn't work miracles. Also, you need to follow some basic cuticle care tips regularly if you want truly flawless cuticles. Here are some tips for taking care of this sensitive part of your nails.

  • First, butter the cuticles, then gently push the cuticles back with an orange wood stick. that is, it reduces excess cuticles. That way and it is not necessary to cut them.
  • Avoid rough manicures. Be very careful who you choose to get your nails done!
