How to make your bridal bouquet
First, define the flowers that you have the most affection for. For this tutorial, we suggest the pastel pink and white tones traditionally used in the making of wedding bouquets. However, the color palette is up to you.
As for the flowers used, we opted for: Avalanche roses, mosquito, pink limonium, white lisianthus, green dianthus, and eucalyptus for the foliage. (only suggestion)
Step 1: Remove the leaves
First of all, the step in making a bouquet or flower arrangement is to remove all the leaves from the stems. Only, manually remove. Carefully remove each leaf so as not to damage the stem. Do this with all your flowers and take the next step.
Step 2: Select your center flower
This step consists of choosing the center from the flower of your bridal bouquet. We indicate a rose. Then hold your flower below the petal bud.
Step 3: Make your bouquet
Right after, add the next flower, but position it slightly at a diagonal angle to the first one while maintaining a left angle. That is, you should form something like an "X".
Make sure the two flowers are the same height! This is an important step towards having a round bouquet.
Continue to complete your bouquet by rotating and adding each new flower facing slightly to the right to fill the bouquet well on all sides. At this stage, we add lisianthus to bring a hint of sweet fragrance to the bouquet.
After making the center of the bouquet, you can insert some filler flowers between the main flowers you already have.
These are usually the smallest flowers that will complete the bouquet. Here we choose wildflowers that give a natural look to your bridal bouquet.
Tip: Make sure the fill flowers are at the same angle as the main flowers to maintain a symmetrical bouquet.
Step 4: Tie the Flowers
If you made your bouquet according to the angle set, you'll end up with your stems forming an angle of about 70 degrees. Tie the stems together in a tight knot to hold all the flowers together while maintaining a nice symmetrical shape.
Step 5: Cut the stems
Then cut the excess stems to keep a bouquet with straight stems and no longer shaped angles. This step is important to ensure the bouquet is practical. In addition, you must mEdit the height of the stems you want to keep.
The stems should be long enough to fit in either hand and add extra room to maneuver to ensure they remain comfortable in the hand.
Step 6: Addicite the tape
Use the floral tape first so that you have a strong, proper flower bow to hold the flowers in the bouquet together securely.
You can keep the bouquet looking natural. involving only half of the stems on the tape. Then add the silk ribbon.
Start by placing one end of the ribbon at the top of your bouquet (leave about 40 cm of ribbon free at the end to tie a knot) and wrap the ribbon around the stems.
When you reach the end of the ribbon, tie it with the other end left out at the top of the bouquet to make a pretty bow.
